Speeding Up Your Mozilla Firefox
Firefox help
Here's something for broadband people that will really speed Firefox up:
1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests " to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
Actually nabasa rapud nq ni... I hope it will help..

Re: Speeding Up Your Mozilla Firefox
Firefox is known to have more protections from viruses and malwares compared to Internet Explorer. A lot of people would suggest to use Firefox than IE. Some scripts are not running in IE only in Firefox. I've personally tried it. But right now im using IE (for some personal reasons).
You can download the latest version of Mozilla Firefox at:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Re: Speeding Up Your Mozilla Firefox
You know why it is called "speeding up firefox"... dili mana actually gi paspas imong connection or anything...
Firefox just looks at a link, goes to that link and caches the pages/images in advance... that is why mura siya paspas inig click nimo kay naka cache nana siya... meaning naka visit naka ana nga page (although wa pa nimo gi click).
Disadvantage part is, if the page contains a virus file then that file is also cached... good thing about firefox is that the file being cached are renamed... and stripped of their extension. Whereas kon internet explorer na siya.. ang file nga gi cache as is jud... kun exe na...exe file jud na siya
